Russia is failing

     The fighting is the Ukraine is going horribly for the Russians.  the cracks in the mighty bears armor is more glaring than anyone originally thought, the weapons systems used by the Russians as good as they appear on paper show just how bat the designs are.  With armor systems failing Tanks being destroyed by lesser armed and prepared vehicles.  Their latest and greatest attack helicopter the Kamov-50 have shown to be a disaster, and reports say they have already lost half the fleet.  confirmed reports of well over 190,000 Russian soldiers have died, been injured or gone missing since the start of the war.  this is due to lack of leadership proper training and poor equipment.  Reports state that the Russian war machine can no longer keep up with the need for new equipment on the battlefield and the Russians are de moth balling old soviet machines.  the T-90 tanks are in low numbers and can't be produced in adequate numbers same with the T-62, and T-64.  leading the west to believe that the original numbers of over 5000 tanks in the arsenal was massively over inflated, or they count the rusting soviet mothball fleet as part of the reediness plans.  The air-force is in the same boat and the navy is also suffering from a lack of technological advancements and a lack of funding to ensure the already existing crop of ships subs and support vehicles are all in order for battle.

    The influx of weapons from their allies just deepens the realization that the Russians are not in a solid footing.  Taking arms from Iran, China and N. Korea all show that the former Soviet war machine is in a haggard way.  

    Influx of Solders from N. Korea are not boding well for the Russians and this also show how under trained and not disciplined the  N. Korean army is.  some 6,000 to 10,000  troops have been sent to help the Russians but according to reports the Korean fighters have been less that helpful.  they have been addicted to internet porn as being this is there first real exposure to the unrestricted web, several have killed their Russian counterparts and run off and are now wanted by both the Russians and the N Koreans for desertion and murder.  and then the high rate of desertion in general.  The Korean solders stated that they were going to Russia for training but ended up on the front lines of battle.  they are being starved, used as cannon fodder in the war.  stating they are used as the first wave in the attacks and if the advance go's well only then will the Russians come in to help.  also, they were used to attacks tanks and other armored vehicles with only small arms.  it also states in the report that the Korean contingent won't last much longer at the rate its going and will most likely be destroyed in a few months.  some wonder if there will be any more sent by the Koreans   since the brass in Pyongang is not happy with the state of the battle and the performance of there fighters and do not want any more light shed on their inability of a fighting unit.

WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY

      I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my hands, wrists and arm for a little over two years now.  My right hand was always the worst of the two.  It got to the point where I cannot sleep, loosing feeling and in constant pain.  It feels like a match in lit in my wrist and as the day rolls on it becomes a blow torch.  I finally spoke with my PCP about it and got a referral to see a specialist.  and after a battery of testing its determined that I need an operation, at first it was carpal tunnel in my wrist but after speaking with the surgeon it was found I also need a operation on my nerve leading into the thumb on my right hand as well as an operation on my right elbow so four places need operated in total.  man, when I go big, I GO BIG I guess.      I'm hoping all this will clear up all the pain I'm in.  I need sleep and to be human once again.  I have several irons in the fire and need to be healthy.  I...

      On average I do an article on something in the news, foreign policy, economic, of something relevant in our world culture.  But today I want to switch gears and do a short peace on friends and the need for what I call a 2am friend.     Yes, there are differing rungs of friendship. and well start at the bottom.  the work buddy they are the guys you work with at the office, shop or field with.  you are friendly with one another have a level of trust knowing that if something happens to go sideways, they will try to help you.  You bust one another's chops, kid around and when the day ends you may tip a beer or two every once and a while.      Moving up is ladder is your neighbor they live next door and if you are lucky, you get along with them have cookout the kids play with each other.  You watch one and other property when away borrow a cup of sugar or help when the lawn mower brakes.  this friend knows a little ...
