OPERATION SPIDERS WED
I know today is normally the news round up also known as open source. We still may get to that Just because there is so much going on from the India Pakistan conflict cooling off for now to the latest terror attack here in the states.
But the big story to me is the tectonic shift in momentum between the Russians and the Ukrainians with the recent shocking attack deep inside the Russian territory by the Ukrainians with un-maned drones in broad day light destroying a third of the Russian strategic bombing fleet. This attack caused 2.2 (or more) billion dollars in losses to the so-called Russian bear. the bombers that were targeted were constructed in the 1990's and were a strategic aspect to the former soviet and now Russian military they bore the heavy lifting in the bombing runs over the Ukrainian region and now they sit in smoldering ruin on the tarmac. The kicker is that Russia no longer builds these sort of war planes. they gave up the construction on they on the early 2000 opting for upgrades and the reliance of joint strike fighters. thinking the current stock will be ok for a few decades to come. it was a bad game of kick the can and now they are paying for it.
I'm willing to wager a bet to fill this gap in strategic long-range bombing they will pivot to China for help with manufacturing a new wave of planes. And China will gladly assist in this NOT because they want to lend aid to a friend, NO but they want the intellectual property on the construction of the Russian bombers.
Putin is now dripping with egg on his face reeling from a devastating loss. He looks weak and feckless now and the world see's the emperor has no clothes. Russia put out reports Not denying the fact they were hit over 5000 miles in their territory some 4 times, losing a massive amount of equipment. the Russian media is saying that Russian forces repelled the attacks, there were no casualties and several people were arrested. anything to try and save face, I guess.
the attack was quite genius, the Ukrainians used Russian truck drivers to carry a load near the targeted areas drop the loads and well go. the drivers had no idea what was in the shipping containers the containers held a false roof that slid open at a set time released the drones and swarm attacked the bases. they flew to the planes and located the wings and blew themselves up. they used fiber optics so jamming was a non-issue and did the attack in daylight so the cameras can be used properly by the drone pilots as well as record the entire attack. this took every one buy Suprise.
The 1000-dollar question is how will this effect peace talks set for the end of the week in Turkey? it can go either way this can force Putin to see that he's in a long-protracted war and is losing both on the battlefield and in the media forcing him to look for an off ramp. Or it may cause him to double down. I guess well see. very soon
