re launce of the blog

     I sit and think about this blog way more than I actually should.   I honestly try to keep it in the for front of my daily tasks of things to do weekly.  But I fall short not because I don't want to sit behind the screen here and bang out a little article on geopolitics or a snazzy review on a cool knife or gun.  No, it's because I have a full-time job that sucks the time and life out of me like a vampire.  

    I know I have launched a re vamp of the blog once already.  stating that on Mondays will be an article on whatever is cooking in my noggin at the time.  then Wednesday will be the open-source news round up, and finally Friday will be a review on whatever I feel like doing one on.  But all that is out the window once again.   I am trying to find my "voice" with this make it streamlined, coherent, and most of all an enjoyable read. 

    So, this is the new drop, I will post Mondays and Fridays.  Monday will be an article of my choosing politics, history, POP culture.  of whatever is simply going on in my life.  the good, the bad or the ugly. so, what I seem to be saying is Monday's articles are a free for all.  I like that keeps us all on our toes.  Fridays will be the OPEN SOURCE still I do enjoy doing the news round ups and all that's fun to me.  I'll be posting them to my X account, and you know there is a link to my Instagram as well.  

    Another announcement is the launch of my PODCAST LIGHTS, CAMERA, POP I do this with my co-host Rich.  We avoid all politics on this at all costs we only discuss topics like COMIC BOOKS, RECORDS AND MUSIC, TV AND FILM, as well as cons, shows, concerts exc.  it's a fun lighthearted listen we have a good time with it please check it out I think you may be surprised at how much fun you'll have with it.

    Lastly the re launch will officially take place on MONDAY JUNE 23 depending on how I feel.  I have a operation scheduled for the 19'th on my hand and elbow so we'll see how the recovery process is going and revisit from there.  I will keep you all in the loop.  

well, I hope this clears up some of the mud that is this blog.  you anyone wants my take on an event please let me know.  And if there is a major event that takes place in-between posting you can bet you're bottom dollar I will cover it.

      The big, beautiful bill contained some NFA items in it.  If you followed the bill, you would know what I am talking about. It held language regarding suppressors and shirt barrel rifles.  the hope was to have them removed from the NFA.  What does that mean?  well in laymen terms the feds wanted to have the SBR and all suppressors removed from the registry and that would take away the tax stamp needed to legally own one of these items.      If you want to legally possess a short barrel rifle (SBR) or a suppressor (silencer) you needed to go to a class three FFL, fill out paperwork, have papers signed by the local sheriff and turn in fingerprints an pay a 200-dollar tax stamp fee.  All this paperwork was then sent to the BATF and you waited.  the weight time was in most cases close to a year before you got the thumbs up or down. all this was just stupid and unnecessary.  it was like bureaucratic busy work. ...

WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY

      I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my hands, wrists and arm for a little over two years now.  My right hand was always the worst of the two.  It got to the point where I cannot sleep, loosing feeling and in constant pain.  It feels like a match in lit in my wrist and as the day rolls on it becomes a blow torch.  I finally spoke with my PCP about it and got a referral to see a specialist.  and after a battery of testing its determined that I need an operation, at first it was carpal tunnel in my wrist but after speaking with the surgeon it was found I also need a operation on my nerve leading into the thumb on my right hand as well as an operation on my right elbow so four places need operated in total.  man, when I go big, I GO BIG I guess.      I'm hoping all this will clear up all the pain I'm in.  I need sleep and to be human once again.  I have several irons in the fire and need to be healthy.  I...

      On average I do an article on something in the news, foreign policy, economic, of something relevant in our world culture.  But today I want to switch gears and do a short peace on friends and the need for what I call a 2am friend.     Yes, there are differing rungs of friendship. and well start at the bottom.  the work buddy they are the guys you work with at the office, shop or field with.  you are friendly with one another have a level of trust knowing that if something happens to go sideways, they will try to help you.  You bust one another's chops, kid around and when the day ends you may tip a beer or two every once and a while.      Moving up is ladder is your neighbor they live next door and if you are lucky, you get along with them have cookout the kids play with each other.  You watch one and other property when away borrow a cup of sugar or help when the lawn mower brakes.  this friend knows a little ...
