Russia fighting force is falling apart

     Russia was always looked as the second greatest fighting force on the planet right behind the United States.  and China in a distant third.   But with the recent war in the Ukraine putting a spotlight on the disaster that the Russian fighting force is.  The lack of proper equipment, the horrible training the army receives, and the lack of tactical forethought by the leadership of the military.  It is astonishing to think we were actually scared of the so-called Russian bear.  

    There is no reason for any major country to be afraid of the former Soviet Union NONE whatsoever, but they have nuclear weapons ok great they won't use them.  again, the Russians fully understand the idea of mutually assured destruction and they are not suicidal on that aspect.  Not only that but a great cross section of their nuclear strike force is unusable and on no condition for launch.  there are many, many reports of the awful state of the nuclear force.  

    Russia is a master at controlling information, putting out miss information and dis information.  The Russians can teach a PhD level class on false information and conspiracy theory.  they control the death and injury numbers coming out of Europe, the disasters that they get hit with daily and how bad they are operating in Ukraine.  the average Russian has only a small crumb of the war only because the internet still leaks in Russia and they don't have the same level of clamp down as say China and N. Korea on their people and this does cause them some headaches.

    Russia is having a difficult time finding new men to sign up for the fighting.  they conscript tens of thousands of men, and this is starting to play a tool on the population.  Russia does give some major in sensitives to join the military a higher wage, retirement, health care exc but this is starting to get to expensive and unsustainable.  so now they are looking outside the borders and are bringing in mercenaries to help in the fight.  they are paying them lower wages than the Russian fighters, they don't need to train them and just out fit them with the bare minimum of supplies.  this is causing to have more down sides.  like mis matched equipment because some fighters do bring their own stuff, language barriers are causing major issues when the fighters cannot communicate with each other this is making tactics ineffective.  the Russian military needs to go through a major overhaul.

    The entire military needs to be stripped down and rebuilt if they want to be an effective fighting force.  the entire structure has fallen apart.  from grift, to leadership that has no idea what they are doing, horrible designs and a failure to look forward is causing the Russians to not just lag behind but fall to the wayside.

    Russia is the world's boogie man, NATO and Europe uses the "Russian bear" as a reason to hike up defense spending (but they never do).  "We need to be ready if the Russians invade..." but this fighting in Europe is proving just how bad the Russian and their allies are at fighting. its like watching the JV teams fighting.  it is quite funny and embarrassing for the once (never) mighty russia.
