England abandons the red sea
Britan has always held a major naval presence in the red sea going back for generations. but not the English are pulling out of the area effectively letting the Syrian backed Houthi rebels run amuck in the region.
The Houthis have sunk several cargo ships traveling thew the red sea since the war in Gaza started causing some 60% reduction in transit threw the region. forcing commodities and all goods to rise in price because of the much higher cost in shipping.
The English have maintained a naval force in the red sea since 1945, and it was set up in order to prevent what is going on now. they were there to make sure the safe passage of the water ways are free and clear of any outside dangers from pirates, rebels and war time occurrences making sure all transactions of goods and services are secure as well as drug and human trafficking.
The reason given for the English leaving the region is well "cutbacks" the country states it needs to slash some of its budget and the naval presence in the Mid East is one of the line items that gets the ax. Diplomats and politicians are not pleased with this decision. they feel rightfully so that it hinders the power projection of the English Nation. and now who will fill the void?
We all know the United Stated will send more naval assets into the area to keep the waters open only stretching the US naval presence in the areas and causing the American Taxpayer to foot the bill.
