European defense industry any one?

     With all the tensions felt all threw Europe there is a push lead by Zelensky.  The leader of the Ukraine has been calling for a major escalation in the European nations to up the game with their defense spending and development of their own weapons systems to stem the tide of Russia.  

    The United States have been slowly shutting off the faucet that is the aid to the Ukraine.  and this pinch is being felt by Zelensky, and this is worrying to him.  With out the full backing of the US the war Machen of the Ukrainians is handy capped.  So, in order to curb this, he is calling for Europe to fill the vacuum. 

    Most European nations do feel the need to step up into this roll but are decades behind in the ability to do so and with the EU under immense financial strains the ability to do so is dim.  

    The EU will most likely take steps toward filling the gap, promising to spend funds to build up its already weaking forces but the follow threw will be slow and most likely never happen to the detail stated.  

    Is all this necessary the stated reason for the escalations is to counter the Russians, but we all know the Russians are a weak nation.  They have been proving this over and over for the last 3 years.  So, I would argue YES this is the perfect time to upgrade the EU and have the European Union head down the trail of self-defense, self-reliance and have an industry that can and will counter the Russians and the rising power of China.  A strong Europe will be a belt weather and a welcome force against the axis of B level rogue nations.  IE China, Iran, N. Korea and Russia.

WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY

      I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my hands, wrists and arm for a little over two years now.  My right hand was always the worst of the two.  It got to the point where I cannot sleep, loosing feeling and in constant pain.  It feels like a match in lit in my wrist and as the day rolls on it becomes a blow torch.  I finally spoke with my PCP about it and got a referral to see a specialist.  and after a battery of testing its determined that I need an operation, at first it was carpal tunnel in my wrist but after speaking with the surgeon it was found I also need a operation on my nerve leading into the thumb on my right hand as well as an operation on my right elbow so four places need operated in total.  man, when I go big, I GO BIG I guess.      I'm hoping all this will clear up all the pain I'm in.  I need sleep and to be human once again.  I have several irons in the fire and need to be healthy.  I...

      On average I do an article on something in the news, foreign policy, economic, of something relevant in our world culture.  But today I want to switch gears and do a short peace on friends and the need for what I call a 2am friend.     Yes, there are differing rungs of friendship. and well start at the bottom.  the work buddy they are the guys you work with at the office, shop or field with.  you are friendly with one another have a level of trust knowing that if something happens to go sideways, they will try to help you.  You bust one another's chops, kid around and when the day ends you may tip a beer or two every once and a while.      Moving up is ladder is your neighbor they live next door and if you are lucky, you get along with them have cookout the kids play with each other.  You watch one and other property when away borrow a cup of sugar or help when the lawn mower brakes.  this friend knows a little ...
