     Was the funding of the war a good thing?  did the US do the right thing by spending BILLIONS on this war that we are not in?  

    I feel yeah it was an endeavor that did have a good payday for the west and the United States.  for a handful of reasons.  One it degraded the Russian Military so bad that it cannot fight a war against a larger more formidable opponent.  too it exposed the Russians for what we always thought them to be a paper tiger with no command and control to speak of.   the faulty equipment that the Russian forces are using and the lack of training and tactics from the boots on the ground.

    It also aided the US in how our equipment holds up in the real world.  were the bugs and gremlins hind and we can flush them out and retool the equipment for more lethality.  Thake the Patriot missel system we learned that it needed to be a more mobile system, and changes are in the works.  and a big one it the Abrahams tank.  the work horse of the battlefield and a massive force projection item faired not so well in the muddy terrain of Eastern Europe. It was too heavy and was suffering from sinking in the mud and maneuverability issues.  as well as speed and its large size all were detractors from the tank's optimum usage in the European theater.  so, the current upgrades were shelved, and the Army decided to rethink the design and went back to the drawling bord and the M1E3 was born.  lighter, faster, and upgraded technologies that have not been released via open sources. 

    We were able to step back and sit on the sidelines and watch the fighting and see tactics and strategies from both sides the fighting lines.  as well as the aid the Russians are receiving from its so-called allies, and this gives the west a window to their equipment and way of thinking   and gives the west strategies of countering them 

    So, all in all yeah, we spent treasure, but no blood and we gained experience without steeping foot on the field. Gained knowledge and insight and destroyed a major force in the world without firing a shot of our own.  Its a win if you ask me

its big its beautiful its a bill ITS A BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL

      The big, beautiful bill contained some NFA items in it.  If you followed the bill, you would know what I am talking about. It held language regarding suppressors and shirt barrel rifles.  the hope was to have them removed from the NFA.  What does that mean?  well in laymen terms the feds wanted to have the SBR and all suppressors removed from the registry and that would take away the tax stamp needed to legally own one of these items.      If you want to legally possess a short barrel rifle (SBR) or a suppressor (silencer) you needed to go to a class three FFL, fill out paperwork, have papers signed by the local sheriff and turn in fingerprints an pay a 200-dollar tax stamp fee.  All this paperwork was then sent to the BATF and you waited.  the weight time was in most cases close to a year before you got the thumbs up or down. all this was just stupid and unnecessary.  it was like bureaucratic busy work. ...

WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY

      I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my hands, wrists and arm for a little over two years now.  My right hand was always the worst of the two.  It got to the point where I cannot sleep, loosing feeling and in constant pain.  It feels like a match in lit in my wrist and as the day rolls on it becomes a blow torch.  I finally spoke with my PCP about it and got a referral to see a specialist.  and after a battery of testing its determined that I need an operation, at first it was carpal tunnel in my wrist but after speaking with the surgeon it was found I also need a operation on my nerve leading into the thumb on my right hand as well as an operation on my right elbow so four places need operated in total.  man, when I go big, I GO BIG I guess.      I'm hoping all this will clear up all the pain I'm in.  I need sleep and to be human once again.  I have several irons in the fire and need to be healthy.  I...
