EVERYDAY CARRY MINI KITS
Today I like to talk about something I have been carrying for years now; I toss them in my car / truck I have them in my bag they are within reach at damn near all times. That is my Maxpedition mini bags. Maxpedition make very high quality tough and rugged bags for all scenarios. I have to of the smaller bags the micro pocket organizers and let me tell you they are fantastic for what I set them for. the average MSRP on one in 20 to 30 dollars they come in five different sizes and a variety of colors the packs are well constructed with places to organize all your pocket junk. take for instance one of my bags I have as a full-on EDC kit, small multi tool, fields notes book, pen, lighter knife, flashlight and so on. this little kit has come in handy on so many adventures I have lost count. the second is a first aid kit, I keep medical scissors, gauze, various size bandages, quick clot, latex gloves a mask and a breathing barrier for CPR as well as several other items that all come in handy in a emergency. this is not a Ifak but a supplement and mini first aid for small stuff.
It's nice to have a few small grab and go bags on hand. As you can tell I am on the go a lot and it gives me a little solace knowing I can manage some small hick ups if they arise. it's always good to be ready in a situation. weather that situation is a tragedy of a hang nail. Now I keep a much more comprehensive kit in the vehicle at all times this is just something to aid in everyday life situations. I'm just trying to give you some food for thought. always have a plan and always have a tool.
thanks M
