REVIEW TIME TOPS KNIVES THE CAT COVERT ANTI-TERROR FIX BLADE
Tops knives have been around for quite some time but for one reason or another they always slipped through my fingers. I don't know why it took me so long to finally grab one of these blades and WOW I sure as heck glad I did.
Tops have a ton of various styles and makes to choose from. folders, fixed blades, ax's also t shirts, hats mugs and a sling shot or two. this brand has you covered. bushcraft, hunting / survival, self-defense and just the mundane task of opening a box TOPS has your back, Jack.
I was limited on the models I was able to get due to the store I bought it from. But I was happy that they did have the CAT with the hunters point blade in red and black G-10. when I first saw this, I knew it was coming home with me.
The scales are very grippy and you can keep a nice hold on the knife even if you have wet hands or in gloves, yet they are not so over baring to make it uncomfortable to wield. the blade is 3.25'' in length with a 3'' cutting edge and is a whopping 0.16'' thick making her a very stout and formidable blade the overall length is 7.13'' and also comes with a kydex sheath that has a rotating belt clip to help with placement and comfort in carrying.
C.A.T. is an acronym for COVERT ANTI-TERRORISM and the blade is used by LEO (law enforcement officers) military, first responders and civilians alike due to the nature of this knifes ability to be used in all sorts of situations. large enough to be a defensive measure, strong enough to be used as a bushcraft tool.
I for one am sold on the quality of the manufacture and I feel you get a lot of bang for the buck in this AMERICAN made AMERICAN company pushing out quality tools. with a MSRP of well under $200 bucks I think I picked up this for around $140. makes this a no brainer and perfect for any blade enthusiast. I already have my eyes on a second TOPS the UNZIPPER a pikal fixed blade I have been eyeing for some time now. so keep watching I'm hoping to have that in my hot little hands soon.
