      Russia was always looked as the second greatest fighting force on the planet right behind the United States.  and China in a distant third.   But with the recent war in the Ukraine putting a spotlight on the disaster that the Russian fighting force is.  The lack of proper equipment, the horrible training the army receives, and the lack of tactical forethought by the leadership of the military.  It is astonishing to think we were actually scared of the so-called Russian bear.       There is no reason for any major country to be afraid of the former Soviet Union NONE whatsoever, but they have nuclear weapons ok great they won't use them.  again, the Russians fully understand the idea of mutually assured destruction and they are not suicidal on that aspect.  Not only that but a great cross section of their nuclear strike force is unusable and on no condition for launch.  there are many, many reports of the awf...

    Recent reports streaming out of Russia is Putin is steaming full speed ahead with his latest idea of massively accelerating missile production.  And who is offering assistance in this endeavor you ask ?  yep that's correct China.      Moscow is using Chinese companies along with Russian intermediaries so snake around sanctions on manufacturing equipment for missiles.  the Sanctions were placed on Russia by the west in order to kneecap the Russian war machine      The idea is to build a stockpile that can last for at least two years at the current rate of fighting.  is this a look into the crystal ball of Putin's mind and seeing a much longer protracted war in Europe?  Russia is in talks for peace and ending this blood fight that for now is basically a stalemate.  But this shows signs that Russia is not about lay down its arms and talk peace.  This looks like Russia is about to dig in and try to run the clock....
