      Russia was always looked as the second greatest fighting force on the planet right behind the United States.  and China in a distant third.   But with the recent war in the Ukraine putting a spotlight on the disaster that the Russian fighting force is.  The lack of proper equipment, the horrible training the army receives, and the lack of tactical forethought by the leadership of the military.  It is astonishing to think we were actually scared of the so-called Russian bear.       There is no reason for any major country to be afraid of the former Soviet Union NONE whatsoever, but they have nuclear weapons ok great they won't use them.  again, the Russians fully understand the idea of mutually assured destruction and they are not suicidal on that aspect.  Not only that but a great cross section of their nuclear strike force is unusable and on no condition for launch.  there are many, many reports of the awf...

      The big, beautiful bill contained some NFA items in it.  If you followed the bill, you would know what I am talking about. It held language regarding suppressors and shirt barrel rifles.  the hope was to have them removed from the NFA.  What does that mean?  well in laymen terms the feds wanted to have the SBR and all suppressors removed from the registry and that would take away the tax stamp needed to legally own one of these items.      If you want to legally possess a short barrel rifle (SBR) or a suppressor (silencer) you needed to go to a class three FFL, fill out paperwork, have papers signed by the local sheriff and turn in fingerprints an pay a 200-dollar tax stamp fee.  All this paperwork was then sent to the BATF and you waited.  the weight time was in most cases close to a year before you got the thumbs up or down. all this was just stupid and unnecessary.  it was like bureaucratic busy work. ...

      Reports are now surfacing that 300 to 400kg of highly enriched uranium have been collected and hidden away just days before the US held its strikes against the three sights.  Intelligence data shows a flurry of movement in and around the sights.  from heavy equipment movements to trucks shuttling items to an undisclosed location.  Not only that but there are reports of suspicious flights starting from Eastern Europe to Iran all of with filed false flight logs and then taking off from the mid-east again with false flight logs ending in locations unknown.  Some reports state the plains landed in North Korea.       Did this take place yes, the evidence shows that there were some very odd movements taking place in this time frame.  I cannot state this is definite I and 50 / 50 on this taking place I just want to present the reports and ley everyone else look into in and make up your mind.

 So last Thursday I had surgery on my hand, elbow and wrist.  so, I won't be doing much training of gear reviews for the next 6 to 8 weeks.  The pain is not that bad whatsoever but I'm no spring chicken any longer and the recovery for any injury takes forever anymore so I have started to actually listen to the doctors and do the recommendations given to me by them.  I will still do articles on politics and history as well as current affairs and the news updates in the form of open source.  I have a few reviews already in the bag so I will publish them since they are already in the bag so to say.   So with all that said hope you all have a great day and be safe out there.

      So, I had a nice weekend it all started after work on Friday.  I got off ran straight home showered and got ready for dinner with the in laws.  We went out for a nice steak dinner for my mother-in-law Birthday.  the food was great, the company fantastic and the conversation was outstanding.  After the meal the wife and I went home and relaxed.  just melted into the couch and turned on the TV and turned off the brain for once.      Saturday rolled around and Amy had to work so I was home.  the rain cleared but it was still a little chilly out.  I walked to the post office sent out a package and picked up a package.  Hit a yard sail got a few deals and then picked up the kids and we all went up to the mountains.  did a little hiking and some photography while up there.  went to the Art and Wine fest.  all in all, the time in the woods was soul healing.  after that we grabbed some food. and went...
